Starfield Console Commands

Commands

To use the console in Starfield, press the tilde (~) key.

When entering these codes, don’t use brackets and replace the number sign with a number. For example, you’d enter the following:

player.additem 0000000f 25

  • tgm Enables god mode, making you invulnerable and giving you infinite stamina and carry weight.
  • tdetect NPCs will no longer detect you.
  • tfc This is the “free-cam” command which allows you to fly above the ground, and is perfect for taking screenshots.
  • tmm 1 Adds map markers for all locations on a planet’s surface. Note: This appears to be permanent, and typing tmm 0 does not remove those icons.
  • tcl Toggles collision, letting you walk through walls and into the air.
  • tm Hides all UI. Type it again to un-hide UI.
  • tai Toggles AI on and off: NPCs will stop where they are and won’t do anything at all.
  • player.additem 0000000f [#] Adds credits in the amount specified. For example, player.additem 0000000f 1000 gives you 1,000 credits.
  • player.additem 0000000a [#] Adds digipicks (lockpicks). For example, player.additem 0000000a 5 will add five digipicks.
  • player.setav carryweight [#] Sets your maximum carry weight to specified amount.
  • player.setlevel [#] Levels you up the the specified level. For example, player.setlevel 10 will instantly raise you to level 10
  • player.setav speedmult [#] Set player speed multiplier. Set this number to anything more than 100 to speed up movement.
  • player.modav carryweight [#] Sets your maximum carry weight to desired amount.
  • player.setav health [#] Sets your max health level.
  • player.removeperk (Perk ID) Remove Skills, Traits, and Backgrounds – The specified skill, trait, or background will be removed from your character.
  • player.addperk (Perk ID) Add Skills, Traits, and Backgrounds – The specified skill, trait, or background will be added to your character. Do note that you will need to have a spare perk, trait, or background slot available in order to add a perk to your character. So, be sure to remove a perk first before attempting this command.
  • player.paycrimegold 0 0 (Faction ID) Pay Off Bounties – Remain out of jail, keep all stolen items, and pay off any outstanding Bounties for a specified Faction.
  • 00010B30 Crimson Fleet
  • 0026FDEA Neon / Ryujin Industries
  • 0005BD93 United Colonies
  • 000638E5 Freestar Collective
  • GetAV COM_Affinity Target a npc and excute this command to get current affinity with that npc
  • SetAV COM_Affinity # Sets the targeted affinity to the number you typed in. Max is 250 and -250 is the lowest
  • kill With the console open, click an NPC to target them, then type kill to kill them. Important characters may only be incapacitated.
  • resurrect Resurrect targeted corpse (in the case of generic NPCs, another generic NPC).
  • killall Kills every enemy and NPC in the area around you, including space battles.
  • kah Kill All Hostiles – All hostile NPCs in the area will be killed.
  • tcai Toggles NPC combat AI, making all NPCs passive.
  • showlooksmenu player 1 Opens the character creator menu, allowing you to adjust your character’s appearance, name, background, and traits.
  • psb Adds every Starfield power.
  • unlock Unlocks current target door or container.

How to find item ID codes

  • Open the console with the tilde (~) key
  • Type “help” (no quotes) followed by an item name, or part of an item name
  • For example, if you want to find the item code for .43 ultramag ammo, type “help ultramag” (no quotes)
  • The console will return any and all codes related to the word ultramag
  • Look for the line reading “AMMO: (002B5599) .43 Ultramag”
  • 002B5599 is the item ID for Ultramag ammo
  • Typing “player.additem 002B5599 100” (no quotes) will add 100 rounds of .43 ultramag ammo to your inventory
